Purpose and Legal Basis of Data Processing

We store your data only to fulfill your inquiries, to perform and carry out contracts, and for our own advertising purposes. Processing is carried out on the basis of the applicable data protection laws.

If you submit an inquiry, request a quote from us, or enter into a contract with us, we process your personal data. Depending on the type of contract, this may include your last name, first name, address, email address, phone/fax number, date and place of birth (if applicable), bank details, and VAT ID. We store and process this data in our customer management system to perform and carry out the contract, as well as for our own advertising purposes. We do not disclose this data to other third parties.

Recipients of Personal Data

Within the scope of legal authorization, your personal data is disclosed to the following companies within the EU:

  • Postal and courier service providers, freight carriers, shipping service providers, document/data carrier disposal companies
  • IT service providers for maintenance and software support
  • Credit check, debt collection, and dialogue marketing service providers
  • Google Inc. (www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb)

Duration of Data Storage

We store your data for as long as required by the respective purpose. Appropriate deletion concepts are in place and are continuously adapted to legal and operational requirements.

Where certain data processed for the performance of purchase contracts is subject to tax-related retention obligations (transaction records), the retention period is 6 or 10 years. During this time, processing of the data is restricted. The retention obligation begins at the end of the calendar year in which the offer was made or the contract was fulfilled.
